At NiNi Natural Roots, natural simply means that the ingredients found in products are free of synthetic or artificial ingredients and derived from plants.

Organic means that the ingredients are grown without toxic, artificial pesticides, fertilizers or herbicides. Organic ingredients provides high levels of antioxidants and nutrients. 

Shea Butter

A fatty substance obtained from the nuts of the shea tree. It's high in vitamins and fatty acids -- combined with its easy to spread consistency which makes it a great product for soothing and conditioning your skin. It has significant levels of vitamins A and E, which means it promotes strong antioxidants activity. It promote cell regeneration. It can help promote wound healing. It's safe for all skin types. It's moisturizing. It's anti-inflammatory. It helps minimize skin irritations caused by dry weather and skin conditions, such as eczema and psoriasis.

Mango Butter

Mango butter is made from mango seeds and contains a high concentration of fatty acids. It's a great source of vitamin E, A and C. You can apply it directly to your skin. It is considered to be safe and an effective remedy for dry skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. It helps support your skin and overall health.

Cocoa Butter

A fatty substance obtained from cocoa beans, so it smells like chocolate. It's high in fatty acids which is why it's known for its ability to hydrate and nourish the skin and improve elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture. One common known use of cocoa butter is to smooth stretch marks, scars and wrinkles on the skin.

Coconut Oil 

VIrgin Coconut oil is made from fresh coconuts. Benefits of coconut oil for the skin: Moisturizing dry skin, promotes wound healing, soothes skin conditions such as eczema. Antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Applying coconut oil to your skin helps keep it hydrated and maintain overall skin integrity.

Almond Oil

Almond Oil is produced by pressing the nuts in order to acquire the oil from two different species of almond plants. It's naturally potent in vitamin E and vitamin A. This naturally derived oil packs a bunch of fatty acids like omega 6 and 9 that aid in both internal and external health. It helps dry skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis. It helps to balance the absorption of moisture.

Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe Vera Gel from the leaves of aloe plants. People have used it for thousands of years for healing and softening the skin. It contains antioxidants, enzymes, vitamins A and C and it's highly anti-inflammatory. The moisturizing effects of aloe can help alleviate dry itchy skin associated with eczema. It has many benefits; heal wounds, anti-aging, helps with acne, and soothes sunburn to name a few.

Essential Oils

Essential oils are plant-based, smells amazing and contain chemical compounds that have been known to kill acne causing bacterial and help hormonally stressed skin. We are careful of which essential oils we use in our products. Our essential oils are beneficial, and properly diluted with our oils. We use essential oils to add your favorite smells to your moisturizing needs.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is produced from the seed of the Jojoba plant. The oils by itself can be used on skin and hair. The oil is fantastic for the skin on your face and body. It's deeply hydrating, and full of nutrients, vitamins and mineral that are integral to the health of your skin.

Beeswax

Beeswax comes from bees unharmed. It's ideal for moisturizing sensitive skin, hydrating the skin, and soothing certain skin conditions. It's a protective barrier on the skin helping to hold in moisture.
